Everything you need to know before your first QHHT session

QHHT stands for Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique. It is a method developed by Dolores Cannon over more than 60 years of research. It uses deep relaxation to guide you into the theta brain wave state, the natural bridge between waking and sleeping. In this state, the thinking mind and ego soften, allowing access to deeper layers of consciousness where answers, release, and wisdom live.

Yes. QHHT is a gentle, non-invasive process. You remain aware throughout the session and are never in a state you cannot return from. It is not a medical procedure. Your safety matters, and this technique should only be practiced by trained and certified practitioners. You can verify my certification here.

A full session takes between 4 to 6 hours. This includes a conversation (1.5 to 2 hours), the relaxation and connection phase (about 2 hours), and integration (about 30 minutes). Please set aside a full day for yourself so you can relax and fully benefit from the process.

No. Every session is a safe, supportive space. You don't need experience with meditation or hypnosis, just an open mind. Many clients who visit my practice in Laren, near Amsterdam, are trying this for the very first time.

Most people remember their session clearly, especially in the hours right after. Over the following days, the memory may soften, similar to how you recall a vivid dream. This is why you receive a full recording of the session to revisit later. You can read more about this in my blog post on what you remember after hypnotherapy.

During QHHT, your brain transitions into theta waves (4 to 8 Hz). This is the same state you experience just before falling asleep or right after waking up. It is a deeply creative, intuitive, and healing state. Most clients describe it as feeling deeply relaxed but not asleep. You can hear my voice, you sense the room, and you remain aware throughout.

A full QHHT session costs €375. This includes the conversation, the full relaxation and connection phase, the integration, and a complete recording of your session. The session takes place in Laren, near Amsterdam, and is available in English and Turkish.

Bring 10 to 15 questions you'd like to explore, about any aspect of your life such as relationships, purpose, patterns, or personal challenges. Wear comfortable clothes and have less caffeine on the day of your session. Come with an open mind and curiosity. I also recommend practicing daily visualization meditations before sleep or right after waking up. This helps you get used to the deeper state of mind, making it easier to go deeper during your session. But this is not a must. You can find more details in my preparation guide.

You can bring questions about any aspect of your life. The most common themes are purpose and direction, relationships, recurring emotional patterns, physical symptoms with no clear cause, and connecting to higher guidance. There is no wrong question. The subconscious has a way of addressing what matters most. Read more about the questions people bring.

Most people feel a deep calm immediately after the session. Some describe it as a stillness they have not felt in years. I always recommend staying quiet for the rest of the day, drinking plenty of water, and being gentle with yourself. The session recording helps you revisit the experience as the integration continues in the days and weeks that follow. Learn more about what happens after a session.

Traditional hypnotherapy typically uses suggestion in a light to medium trance state and focuses on specific behavioral changes. QHHT goes deeper, accessing the somnambulistic state where the subconscious communicates directly. Sessions are longer (4 to 6 hours vs 60 to 90 minutes) and explore past life memories and Higher Self connection. You can read a detailed comparison in my blog post on what makes QHHT different.

Traditional QHHT as developed by Dolores Cannon is designed as an in-person experience. The depth of the somnambulistic state and the trust between practitioner and client are best supported in a physical setting. My sessions take place in Laren, a calm town near Amsterdam, which many clients find helps them arrive in a more relaxed state.
